Some moments come n go in a blink of an eye. However some are remembered forever. The moment has finally came upon us for Roger Glenn Faidley. His candle blew out May 5th 2013. He is survived by his his wife of over 40 years, Mary (Hale) Faidley,3 children, Shelley (Larry) Dales of Bondurant, Mary (David) Whipple of Moline, Illinois, and Levi Faidley of Harrington, Washington; 6 grand children, and 6 great grand children and 3 siblings, Allan (Barb) Faidley of Winterset, Iowa, Sherry (Gene) Healy of Austin, Texas, and Richard Faidley of Bakersfield, California. Roger grew up in Colfax Iowa and had the privilege of traveling the whole United States of America multiple times. His final destination landed him in Washington State where he enjoyed his freedom to the max. Roger joined The United States Air Force July 5th 1965 and after completing his tour of duty returned home to Colfax Iowa. He saw life as a journey and one worth exploring. The blues, trade fairs, family, road trips, and sticking out his thumb were a way of living life to the fullest for him. There was a glow in his beautiful blue eyes and fight in his will to always move forward. Roger will join his mom Mary Bell Faidley and his father Ken Glenn Faidley in Heaven. He leaves behind many untold stories and another joke left unsaid. There will be a Celebration of Life event on his Birthday May 18th from 1:00 PM till sunset. Family and guests are welcomed to bring a dish, drink, or dessert but most importantly themselves.
