An inquisition holden at Newton, Jasper County, Iowa, on the 11th day of December A. D., 1903 before S. Mona Robinson, coroner of said county, upon the body of Gustav Lund, there lying dead, by the jurors whose names are hereto subscribed: The said jurors upon their oaths do sat that the said Gustav Lund came to his death from a gunshot wound fired from a 10 gage gun in the hands of Henry Held, at the residence of said Henry Held in Newton, Iowa, at about 1 o’clock a.m. Dec. 11, 1903, after the said Gustav Lund had broken and entered the said residence and that the said Henry Held was justified in firing said shot and that no blame whatever attaches to him for the death of said Gustav Lund.
