An elderly woman named Nelges whose home was near Greencastle committed suicide last night, sometime between midnight and five o’clock this morning. She ran out of the house and drowned herself in a half barrel of water.

But few particulars have been received here today. The coroner was telephoned for this morning and went up on the early train to investigate the matter. Mrs. Nelges lost her husband a short time ago.
