BILLIE DALE HERWEHE--Funeral services for Billie Dale, infant son of Mr. and Mrs. Earl Herwehe, were held Thursday afternoon from the Methodist Episcopal Chruch in Monroe with Rev. O.S. Hasseltine officiating. Billie Dale, seven months old, passed away Tuesday, March 14, 1933 at the home of his parents on a farm northeast of Monroe in the Bellvue district, as the result of sleeping sickness which developed from flu. Music at the fuenral services was furnished by a male quartet consisting of Earl LeGrand, Oscar and Carl Ammer and Horace Cash, accompanied at the piano by Mrs. Ralph Gloyd. They sang "Gathering Home" and "Asleep in Jesus." Pallbearers were cousins of the child's father, Wayne & Clifton Tool of Newton, Merit McCauley and Lee Herwehe, both of Monroe. Billie Dale, infant son of Earl and Sarah Elizabeth Herwehe, was born Aug 7, 1932 and his departure to the home beyond on March 14, 1933 at the age of 7 months. His departure leaves behind his father and mother, two brothers, Rolland and Carol and one sister Ella June. Also a great grandfather, Albert West, on grandfather, Adam Herwehe and one grandmother, Mrs. Laura Brewer, besides many other relatives.
