ERNEST F. HERWEHE--Ernest Herwehe, son of Sarah and Adam Herwehe, was born near Monroe, March 20, 1899, and died in San Diego, CA., Nov. 27, 1934, at the age of 35 years. He was united in marriage to Olive M. Johnson, June 24, 1919, to which union were born, Betty June, Vivian May and Ernest, Jr. In early manhood Mr. Herwehe united with the Methodist Episcopal church in Monroe. After an illness of sixteen days Mr. Herwehe died at the San Diego General Hospital, death coming as the result of pneumonia. Deceased was a business man of Eckener Pass near Boulevard, CA. He is survived by his widow and three children, his father, Adam Herwehe, who was spending the winter with him; three sisters, Mrs. Emma McCauley, Mrs. Rose Oldham and Mrs. Susan Tool, all of Monroe; four brothers, J. P. Herwehe, Newton; Earl F., Frederick and Howard L., of Monroe. Funeral services were held from a San Diego Funeral Chapel Saturday, Dec. 1, 1934 at 11:00. The Rev. W.A. Jennings officiated. Interment in Mr. Hope cemetery in San Diego, CA.
