MRS. ROSA MAY OLDHAM--Rosa May, daughter of Adam and Anna Sarah Herwehe, was born in the Bellview vicinity, March 20, 1887. Death, caused by a cerebral hemorrahage, came very suddenly, at about 3:00 Wednesday afternoon, January 2, 1952, while she was visiting at the home of an aunt Miss Flora Tool, of Monroe. She was united in marriage to Horace Tool Oldham, Aug. 17, 1905. The new home was established in this community, where they were life time residents. On February 27, 1921, with her husband, she united with the Methodist Church of Monroe, and retained that membership until the final summons came. She was also a member of the Monroe Woman's Relief Corps. Mrs. Oldham was preceded in death by her parents; two brothers: ernest and Steve, and Mrs. Robert Tice. Among the survivors are her husband; two sons; Ordell and James of Monroe; three daughters; Mrs. John Van Baale of Kellogg; Mrs. Carl Hewitt and Mrs. M. J. Miles, of Newton. Twelve Grandchildren; five great grandhcildren; two sisters; Mrs. Sarah Tool and Emma McCauley of Monroe; bour brothers Frederick Herwehe of Norwalk, Earl, Jake and Howard Herwehe and two sisters; other relatives and a great host of friends.
