MRS. ROBERT R. TICE--Funeral services were held Friday afternoon, Feb 10, at the Methodist Episcopal Church with Rev. Hesseltine, pastor, officiating for Mrs. Robert R. Tice, who died at her home Wednesday afternoon, Feb 8. Appropriate music was furnished by a male quartet comprised of Guy Wilson, Horace Cash, Oscar Ammer and Carl Ammer. Pallbearers were Howard Roberts, Dr. L.D. Anderson, Frank North, Harrison LeGrand, Laurel Buckley and Charles Hetherington. Burial was in our Silent City cemetery.

Elmina Herwehe, daughter of Adam and Sarah Herwehe, one of 11 children, was born near Monroe, Sept 22, 1895. On Dec. 1, 1915 she was united in marriage to Robert R. Tice of Monroe. To this union two children were born, one who died in infancy, and Herchul Rex who, with the father, survive. Her mother, one sister, Vernice, and one brother, Stephen, preceded her in death. Three sisters, Mrs. Emma McCauley and Mrs. Rose Oldham, both of Monroe, and Mrs. Sarah Tool of Newton, five brothers, Jacob, Earl and Howard of Monroe, Fred of Des Moines and Earnest of Boulevard, Calif., also survive.

She united with the Monroe M.E.Church Dec 5, 1913 and was active in societies of the church.
