Mr. and Mrs. Theodore Callison have the sympathy of all in the loss of their son, Ruskin Theodore, who died at 10:30 Saturday evening at their home on North Farmer Street.

Ruskin was born July 19, 1900, and was a bright little fellow who so entwined himself about the heart strings of his parents that they are almost crushed by the blow that has fallen upon them.

The funeral was held at two this afternoon, Presiding Elder John C. Willits being in charge. On account of quarantine the funeral was private. ~ The Newton Daily Herald, Newton, IA, Monday, April 20, 1903, Page 1, Column 4
