Carl, the only child of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Browne, Sr., died here at 2 o’clock yesterday morning after an illness of about three weeks duration. The little one was a great sufferer during the latter portion of its illness, and as there seemed to be no hopes for its recovery, death came as a great relief. The little fellow was aged nineteen months and was a bright little fellow. The funeral took place this afternoon from the home on springs grounds and was private. Interment being in Calistoga Cemetery. The condolences and sympathy of the entire community go out to Mr. and Mrs. Browne in the loss of their beloved child. – Calistoga, Cal., April 8, 1903. ~ The Newton Daily Herald, Tuesday, April 14, 1903, Page 1, Column 1
