Mr. I. L. Hammer received a telegram from Highmore South Dakota, Tuesday, informing him that his son, Harry had been shot and could not live. He took the train for that place the same evening. On Wednesday a second telegram was received conveying the sad information that Harry had died. Harry was about twenty-five years of age and single. We are without particulars as to how the shooting occurred. The remains are expected to arrive here this, Friday, morning. The family has the sincere sympathy of all in their deep sorrow.
