Trent Van Hoosen

Trent Van Hoosen, 46, of Fishers, IN, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, November 2, 2012. He was born on October 13, 1966 to Chuck and Leslie Van Hoosen in Newton, Iowa.

Trent graduated from Newton High School in 1984, and is an Iowa State graduate where he played football. He was employed by Stryker Orthopedics. He was a member of Christ the Savior Lutheran Church in Fishers; was active in Hamilton Southeastern youth sports, and very involved in their athletics and coaching.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Carr) Van Hoosen; two sons, Matt and Joe, and a daughter, Sophia; mother, Leslie; two sisters, Tracie Rathjens, and Teresa Meyer; beloved Aunts: Janet, Connie, Mary, Betty and Diane; 11 nieces and nephews and several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Chuck.

Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, 10500 East 126th Street, in Fishers, with fellowship and gathering afterwards at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Trent Van Hoosen Memorial Fund, in care of Chase Bank, for a scholarship fund established for their children. ~ Randall and Roberts Funeral Home Website, Fishers, Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Susan (Carr) Van Hoosen; two sons, Matt and Joe, and a daughter, Sophia; mother, Leslie Van Hoosen; two sisters, Tracie (Ron) Rathjens, and Teresa (Todd) Meyer; beloved aunts and uncles, Mary & Mark Altemeier, Connie & John DeGreef, Janet & Monte Rinehart, Betty & Regan Broderson, Diane & Mark Blackwood and Judy & Steve Ferring; 11 nieces and nephews, plus several cousins.

He was preceded in death by his father, Charles Edward Van Hoosen, and maternal and paternal grandparents.

Services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, November 5, 2012, at Christ the Savior Lutheran Church, 10500 East 126th Street, in Fishers, with fellowship and gathering afterwards at the church.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Trent Van Hoosen Memorial Fund, in care of Chase Bank, for a scholarship fund established for their children.
