Colfax - Funeral services for William H. Buckroyd, 86, a lifelong resident of the Colfax Community, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Aug. 1, at the Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Eldon Nolte, pastor of the church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Colfax Cemetery.

Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax is handling arrangements.

He died Wednesday at the Des Moines General Hospital.

Survivors are a sister, Harriett Hinshaw of Van Nuys, Calif.; and two nieces, Eleanor Lester of Colfax and Sharron Schneider of Sepulveda, Calif.

He was preceded in death by his parents, six brothers and two sisters.

Mr. Buckroyd was a retired farmer.

The son of John W. and Mary Ann Rowley Buckroyd, he was born Feb. 11, 1900 near Colfax.
