Webb M. Teed, 78, Dies Wednesday at Collins Home
Clear Creek, Feb. 10 – Special to The Daily News – Webb M. Teed, 78, member of the Daily News Three-Quarter Century Club, died at his home near Collins Wednesday night. He had been in ill health for some time.
Funeral services have not been definitely arranged, but probably will be held Saturday afternoon at Ashton Chapel, with burial there.
Mr. Teed was born in Ashland county, Ohio, on June 13, 1854, and came to Jasper county from Illinois in 1857. He had spent all his life on the farm.
He is survived by two brothers, Squire Teed of Collins and Harvey Teed of Salina, Kans. Three other members of his father’s family preceded him in death.
He was a member of the I.O.O.F.
