Former County Resident Dies in California
Funeral services for Mrs. Hartsell Dowden, former Prairie City woman who died Friday, Feb. 3, in Los Angeles, Calif., were conducted there Saturday, Feb. 4. The Dowdens left Prairie City for California four years ago.
Mrs. Dowden is survived by her husband; two daughters, Mrs. Roy Robinson of Newton and Marian of Los Angeles and six sons, Dr. E. H. Dowden of Vinton, Ia., Frank and Forrest of Brawley, Calif., and Hubert, Lawrence and Meredith Dowden, all of Los Angeles.
