MISS LUCY HAMMER

Miss Lucy Hammer, daughter of J. H. Hammer, passed away at the home of her brother, Monday at 11:50 a.m. Services will be conducted at the home, 1704 Walker street, Tuesday evening, November 23d, at 7:30 o'clock, by the Rev. Mr. Newby, pastor of the Friends church. For years Miss Lucy had been a faithful member of this church. She will be laid to rest at Center church near Newton, Iowa, on Wednesday, November 24th, by the side of her mother and brothers who have passed on before her. She is survived by John H. Hammer, her father; Mrs. Robert Lenox and A. T. Hammer, sister and brother, of Des Moines; Mrs. Martha Cox, sister, of Brockman, Cal., and F. D. Hammer, brother, of Kansas City, Mo.
