Died, at his home near Baxter, Friday, February 14, 1896, L. A. Sewell. The funeral services were held at Bethel Church on Sunday afternoon and the remains were interred in the Bethel Cemetery. ~ The Newton (IA) Record, Friday, February 21, 1896, Page 9, Column 6
