Mary E. Bohne, 77, Dies Saturday; Rites Wednesday
Miss Mary E. Bohne, 77, a lifelong resident of Jasper County, died at 11:15 a.m. Saturday at the Jasper County Home.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Johnson Funeral Home.
The Rev. Richard C. Schroeder, minister of the First Congregational Church, will conduct the services. Burial will be in St. John’s cemetery north of Newton.
Miss Bohne is survived by a brother, Charles, of Newton and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, six brothers and two sisters.
The daughter of Henry and Caroline Schnathorst Bohne, she was born June 13, 1885 in Newton.
