Herman Bohne, 67, Dies on Tuesday
Herman Bohne, 67, a longtime county resident who farmed northeast of Newton at one time, died Tuesday afternoon at the county home.
Services will be Friday at 2 p.m. in the Morgan-Loehr Funeral Home conducted by the Rev. Russell Miller of St. John’s Evangelical and Reformed church. Burial will be in St. John’s cemetery.
He is survived by two brothers, Henry and Charles of Newton, and a sister, Mary Bohne, also of Newton.
Mr. Bohne, who never married, was born in Jasper county on Feb. 1, 1889.
