From Darkness to Perpetual Sunshine

Sarah Ellen Dingman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. N. T. Dingman, of this city, died of typhoid pneumonia, at the Jasper County Poor Farm, last Saturday, January 18th. Miss Dingman was born in Porter County, Pennsylvania, September 3rd, 1846, and was in her 50th year. From her birth she had been afflicted, but death dispelled the dark cloud, which had shadowed her mind during all these years, and she no doubt passed into the glorious light and joy of the beautiful world beyond. ~ The Newton Record, Friday, January 24, 1896, Page 1, Column 6
