Tracey Lynn Oliver, 42, of Newton, formerly of Ames, died March 9. Visitation is 9 to 11 a.m. Saturday, March 12 at Adams Funeral Home. Services will follow at 11 a.m.
Tracey was born August 19, 1968 in Ames to Arnie and Jana (Renfeldt) Moreland. She graduated from Ames High School in 1986 and graduated from DMACC, majoring in business. While in school she worked at Arnie’s Petro Palace, where she especially enjoyed customer service. Presently, she worked at a local convenience store.
Tracey enjoyed reading, fishing, brain teasers, spending time with her dog, Lacey, and playing X-box. Her daughter, Olivia, was her pride and joy.
She is survived by her parents; daughter, Olivia; sister, Nicki Maestre; niece, Melicia Maestre; grandfather, Dave Renfeldt; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Beverly Renfeldt and Sterling and Gloria Moreland; and uncle, Rod Renfeldt.
Memorials may be made to the Story County Animal Shelter, because of her love of animals.
