Holly A. Comer, 64, of Newton, formerly of Lexington, Neb., died Friday, Feb. 25, 2011, at the Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
A funeral service will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, March 2, at the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship, 1000 E. 12th St. S. in Newton. The family will greet friends from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.
Memorials to the Donor’s choice may be left at the funeral home or at the church on the afternoon of the service.
Survivors include her husband, Gene of Newton; daughter, Mindy Volk of Jackson, Miss.; three sons, Mich Volk of Oklahoma City, Okla., Ruben Comer of Knoxville and Gary (Wendy) Comer of Knoxville; her grandson, Mason Volk; and two sisters, Kelly Bowers of Chicago, Ill., and Sue Fitszer of Orlando, Fla.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Valerie O’Brien.

Holly A. Comer was born August 29, 1946 to Herbert and Madeline (Kimberly) Large.
Holly was a graduate of St. Ann's High School in Lexington, Nebraska in 1964. Holly was a member of the Cornerstone Bible Fellowship in Newton. Holly loved her family and friends very much, she also lived and enjoyed life to the fullest.
Interment: Following the funeral service and coffee time on Wednesday, March 02, 2011 at the Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.
