Obituary - Henry T. Runyan

Henry T. Runyan was born in Vermillion County, Indiana, Oct. 9th, 1843, and passed away at his home near Goddard, Feb. 19th, 1923 at the age of 79 years, 4 months and 1 day.

On Oct. 12th, 1865, he was united in marriage to Mary Charlotte Hines. To this union were born nine children of which six with the mother have preceded him. The remaining three, Lenar, Mrs. Jess Rogers of Newton and Charles at home are left to mourn the loss of a kind and loving father. He also leaves 13 grandchildrren, 6 great-grandchildren; two sisters and numerous other relatives and friends.

Funeral services were conducted from the residence near Goddard Monday afternoon at 1:30, Elder Q. V. Williamson, pastor of the Church of Christ, officiating. Interment was made in the Metz cemetery.
