PATRICK O'BRIEN DIES IN SULLY

Funeral Services to Be Held Friday Morning at 10:30

SULLY, Ia., March 4-- Patrick O'Brien, 89, pioneer resident of Jasper county died at his home this morning at 7:30 o'clock after a short illness suffering from bronchial pneumonia.

Mr. O'Brien was one of the well known men of the county and enjoyed the friendship and respect of all.

For years Mr. O'Brien was engaged in farming and was one of the progressive farmers of this community.

Funeral services for Mr. O'Brien will be held Friday morning at 10:30 o'clock at the Sacred Heart church in Newton.

The services will be in charge of the priest of Grinnell and Father T.J. McCann.

Burial will be made in the *Newton Catholic cemetery.
