Croce, Kathy L. – 1949–2011

CROCE, DAY, NICHOLS, TRAUB, WILSON

Kathy Croce loved Jesus. She lived her life to serve Him, in her family, at church, and in the community, volunteering at Hephzibah House in Newton, and at the Women’s Correctional Facility in Mitchellville. Her joy in the Lord was seen throughout her many social circles, spanning contacts worldwide, and through the strength and peace she showed during her three year battle with breast cancer.
Her zest for life was shared daily with her family — her husband of 28 years, Jon Croce; her five children, Dawn (Mitch) Day of Clayton, N.C., Debbie (John) Wilson of Albion, Iowa, Jonathan Croce of Ankeny, Iowa, Jennifer (Mike) Traub of Howell, Mich., and Jackie Nichols of Clayton, N.C.; her 13 grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Kathy’s life will take place at the Community Heights Alliance Church in Newton on Wednesday, Jan. 19, at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Hospice of Jasper County or Hephzibah House in Newton.
