Ann N. Curtis, 84, of Newton died Monday, Jan. 10, 2011, at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
A funeral mass will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Newton. The family will greet friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Friday at the church. Memorials in Ann’s name may be left at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton or at the church on the day of the service.
Survivors include her husband, Pearl of Newton; her son, David Curtis (Carol Hedges) of Newton; and many nieces and nephews.

Ann Guizzetti was born March 31, 1926.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Massimo and Mary Guizzetti; 1st husband, David Irwin; sisters: Angelina, Geraldine Braun, Jennie Hays, Mary Hopkins; brother, John Guizzetti and a baby brother.
Ann was a graduate of Colfax High School. She had worked at Spurgeon’s and Automatic and retired from the Maytag Company after working there for 20 years. She was a member of the UAW Local 997.
Her son David was her pride and joy. She enjoyed helping people and loved animals. She took great pride in her home and was a very good cook.
Interment: Following the Funeral Mass, Friday, January 14, 2011 at Colfax Cemetery in Colfax.
