Alan Rasmusson, 56, of Newton, formerly of McCallsburg, died Sunday, Jan. 9, 2011, at Grinnell Regional Medical Center.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Friday, Jan. 14, at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell. Interment will be at Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell. Visitation will be on Thursday at the Smith Funeral Home from 1 to 8 p.m., with the family present to greet friends from 5 to 8 p.m.
Memorials can be designated to Grinnell Regional Hospice, 106 Fourth Ave., Grinnell, IA 50112. Memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.smithfh.com.
