Thomas A. “Tom” Woody, 29, of Newton died on Monday, December 27, 2010 at the Hospice of Jasper County’s Monarch Wing in Newton.
A gathering of family and friends will be held from 3 to 4 p.m., Friday, January 7, 2011 at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in Newton.
In lieu of flowers, send memorials to Thomas A. Woody Memorial.

Thomas A. "Tom" Woody was born August 20, 1981.
Those left to honor Tom's memory are his mom and step dad, May and Bill Stewart of Newton; his aunts and uncles, Susan and Rowe Winecoff of Newton, Greg and Pat Nelson of Mason City, and Nancee and Roger Etter of Newton. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Kelly and Phyllis Nelson
Tom enjoyed being on his computer, playing computer games and communicating with people on facebook and twitter.
