Philip P. Townsend, 49, passed away Friday, Nov. 26, 2010, at his residence in Pensacola, Fla.
The son of Robert and Betty (Thompson) Townsend, Phil was born Jan. 19, 1961. He was a resident of Pensacola for 26 years. He was a Heavy Equipment Technician for over 30 years.
Those left to honor Phil’s memory are his wife, Deborah of Pensacola; a daughter, Mandy Stairs (Jason Visser); and two grandchildren, Gavin and Hazel. Also surviving are sisters, Tammy Townsend and Kim Billmeyer of Newton. Preceding him in death were his parents.
Family will greet friends to share memories with a coffee time on Saturday, Dec. 11, 2010, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Wallace Family Funeral Home in the social room.
