ELMER ROBSON RITES WEDNESDAY

Services for Elmer J. Robson, 75, 620 S. 4th Ave. W., longtime resident of Newton, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Toland-Wallace Funeral Home.

Dr. Edwin Frohardt, minister of the First United Methodist Church, will officiate, and burial will be in Newton Union Cemetery.

Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.

Surviving are a son, James of South Gate, Calif.; three daughters, Mrs. James (June) Coffin of Huntington Beach, Calif., Mrs. Hubert(Carolyn) Mote of Scottsdale, Ariz.; and Mrs. Carlin (Marilyn) Wickes of Phoenix, Ariz.; 10 grandchildren, and a great grandson.
He was preceded in death by his wife and 12 brothers and sisters.

Mr. Robson was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Maytag 25-Year Club. He had retired from the Maytag Co., where he had been employed 42 years.

He was married to Irene Carrier July 3, 1919, in Newton.

Mr. Robson died Saturday morning at Embassy Manor Nursing Home.~ Newton Daily News, September 29, 1969
