--Died, at the residence in this city, Wednesday, Jan 2, 1895, Caroline M., wife of Joseph W. Knapp; aged 39 years, 7 months, and 17 days. Deceased was a victim of heart disease with which she had long been afflicted. She was born near Cedar Rapids and had always resided in Iowa; was married three times and of the five children who survive her,--three of whom are daughters,--two are the fruits of former marriages. She was united to Joseph W. Knapp March 27, 1882, and had been a resident of Colfax for several years past. Her funeral this forenoon was conducted by Rev. Laye at the Christian church, of which she was a member, and the interment was at Kintz cemetery south of Clyde.
