Mrs. Anna Libolt, Prairie City, Dies

PRAIRIE CITY - Mrs. Anna Libolt, 73, died at her home here this morning at 4:30 from a complication of ailments. She had been ill for the past eight weeks.

Following her marriage to Hiram Libolt in 1893, she went to make her home on a farm two miles northwest of Prairie City. Mr. Libolt passed away Sept. 25, 1927. For the past eight years Mrs. Libolt had made her home in Prairie City.

She was a member of the Christian church of Colfax and the W. R. C. at Prairie City. Services will be held from the Christian church at Prairie City with Rev. Lowell Colston in charge. Burial will be in Waveland Cemetery.

There are no close relatives surviving. Mrs. Gertie Stineman of Prairie City is a sister-in-law. ~ The Newton (IA) Daily News, July 1947
