Jason B. Hawkins Died Friday; Services Tuesday
Jason Burton Hawkins, 64, of Monroe died Friday at Skiff Memorial Hospital in Newton.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, August 11, at the Monroe United Methodist Church.
The Rev. Jerry Wolcott, pastor of the church, assisted by Arthur Nichols of Knoxville, conducted the services. Burial was in the Silent City Cemetery in Monroe.
Walters-Coburn Funeral Home in Monroe handled arrangements.
Survivors are his wife, Agnes; a son, Jack of Monroe; a daughter, Mrs. Jerry (Sharon) Miller of Colfax; two grandchildren; and three sisters, Pearl Ver Dught and Ruby Ver Heul, both of Monroe, and Mrs. Harry (May) Miller of Colfax.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, a son, Burton; two daughters, Rosealea and Jane; and three grandchildren.
