Mr. James K. Snearly, age 90 of Kerrville, Texas, passed away Thursday, March 4, 2010 in a Kerrville Care Center.
He was born on Dec. 20, 1919, in Belair, Ill., to Opal R. Snearly and Sylvia Farley Snearly. He was the manager of Pekin Auto Body and was co-owner of Morton Safari Lanes. He served in the U.S. Army in the 745th Tank Battalion in the European Theatre of World War II. He was a member of Calvary Temple. He married Lenore M. Cummins on September 28, 1942 in St. Charles, Mo. She preceded him in death on Oct. 26, 2009.
Survivors include nieces, nephews and many friends. Graveside services for Mr. Snearly will be on Tuesday, March 9, 2010 at 1 p.m. at Ft. Sam Houston National Cemetery in San Antonio with Pastor Del Way officiating. The family invites you to send condolences at www.grimesfuneralchapels.com by selecting the “Send Condolences” link.
