Michael R. Crouch, age 58 of Prairie City, went to be with the Lord on Friday, February 19, 2010 at Mercy Medical Center in Des Moines. The family will be conducting a private family service. The family would like to thank everyone for their condolences and in lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be given to Hope Ministries or the Altoona Food Pantry (102 9th Street NE Altoona, Iowa 50009). The son of Robert K. and Francis Ellen (Moore) Crouch, Michael was born on August 13, 1951 in Des Moines. Michael was raised in Mitchellville and graduated from Southeast Polk High School, class of 1969. After high school he attended Ellsworth Junior College.
Those left to honor Mike’s memory are his mother, Francis Crouch; sister, Mary Exley; brothers, William Crouch, Pat Crouch, and Mark (Sandy) Crouch; son, James; one granddaughter, numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Mike was preceded in death by his father.
Memorial contributions may be given to Hope Ministries or the Altoona Food Pantry (102 9th Street NE Altoona, Iowa 50009).
