Dies Aged Twenty-one

Orie Hamilton Bain was born February 4, 1889, and died Oct. 28, 1910. He had always lived on the farm where his death occurred.

The last four years he and his other Mrs. Hamilton Bain, whose death occurred only a few weeks ago, had traveled considerable and visited warmer countries hoping to regain their health. Last March Orie was taken to Los Vegas, new Mexico, as a last resort. His mother died at Reasnor October 6, and two day later the son arrived home, realizing that he was soon to follow the mother just gone and the father two sisters and a brother.

He leaves two sisters and one brother. They are Mesdames Emma Sipe, Nettie Wheeler and Fred Bain and many relatives and friends who loved him for he was of a gentle, kind disposition and wherever he went endeared himself to all around him. He was patient and tried to make no trouble for others that he could avoid.

He was buried in the Monroe cemetery three weeks from the time his mother’s funeral was held. The funeral service was held at the home of his sister. Six of his young friends acted as bearers and he was laid away with the many lovely flowers sent by loved ones and friends. ~ Newspaper unknown.
