Dies in Wyoming
F. E. (Ted) Hill, 68, died April 12, 1956 of a lingering illness in a hospital at Cheyenne, Wyo. Funeral services were held Sunday, April 15th at Basin, Wyoming.
Mr. Hill was owner of a drug store for several years in Colfax, selling out when he entered service in the First World War. After the war he returned to Colfax and was a druggist for the M & M drug store for some time.
He left Colfax in 1928 and since that time has made his home at Basin, Wyo., where he owned and operated a drug store.
Mr. Hill was born in Chicago, Ill., and came to Colfax when six years old following the death of his mother to make his home with an aunt and uncle, the late Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Riley of this city. He attended the Colfax schools, was a member of the local Presbyterian church and Masonic Lodge. He was also a member of the Shrine.
He was married to Ilene Snyder in Colfax.
Survivors include his wife, Ilene, one daughter, Lucretia and two grandchildren of Basin, Wyo., and a sister, Mrs. Mary Everett of Colfax.
