Maurine A. Marshall, 84, of 1124 W. 7th St. S., a lifelong resident of Newton, died Friday evening, May 16, at the Embassy Manor Care Center.
Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Tuesday at the Reese Chapel.
Dr. Richard Bentzinger, pastor of the First United Methodist church, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Friends may call at the funeral home until time of services. Visitation with the family will be held from 7 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Survivors are a sister, Aileen (Mrs. Jack) Madin of Newton; two nieces; and a nephew.
Miss Marshall had worked as a secretary for five years at the Harry C. Doane Agency, for 33 years for the Harold M. Finch Agency and for nine years at the Denniston and Partridge Co., retiring in 1966.
The daughter of Charles O. and Mary Henning Marshall, she was born Sept. 22, 1901 in Newton and attended Newton schools.
