Loren S. Clark, Jr. Services Held

Loren S. Clark, Jr., 64, a longtime resident of Colfax, died Wednesday, April 3, at the home of his daughter in Altoona.

Funeral services were held Saturday April 6 at Walters Coburn Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. John McKinstry, pastor of the Howard Street Christian Church in Colfax, conducted the services.

Burial was in the Colfax Cemetery.

Survivors are two daughters, Pamela Dyer of Altoona and Denice Smith of Wyalusing, Pa.; a son, Richard of Woodland, Calif.; six grandchildren; and his mother, Faye Clark of Colfax.

Also surviving are two brothers, James of Logan and William of Newton; and three sisters, Dorothy Wagner and Delores Fields, both of Colfax, and Carolyn Sproul of Missouri Valley.
He was preceded in death by his father, a sister in infancy and a daughter in infancy.

An army veteran of World War II, Mr. Clark was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1655 and the American Legion Post 111, both in Newton.
Mr. Clark was a retired Maytag Co. employee.

The son of Loren S. Sr. and Faye Hall Clark, he was born Feb. 28, 1927 in Marion County.
He also resided in Newton from 1981 until 1989.
