Terry Henning, former Newton resident, killed
Terry J. Henning, 26, of Houston, Tex., a former resident of Newton, was killed Tuesday evening in a car-pedestrian accident in Houston.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Wallace Funeral Home.
The Rev. A. B. Subrock, pastor of the Newton Baptist Temple, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Wallace Funeral Home after 9 a.m. Friday.
Survivors are his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Roy Henning of Newton, and his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Walter Henning and Mrs. Mary Appeldoorn, all of Kellogg.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Case Appeldoorn.
Mr. Henning was employed as a roofing construction worker.
The son of Roy J. and LaVona Appeldoorn Henning, he was born June 21, 1955 in Grinnell and attended Newton schools.
