Mrs. Charles (Emma Rika) Reynolds, 87, of 8824 27th St., Milan, Ill., formerly of Newton, died Wednesday, Dec. 28, at the Oak Glen Manor in Coal Valley, Ill.
Funeral services will be held at 10-30 a.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Schroder Mortuary in Silvis, Ill.
Prayer services will b e held at 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 31, at the Wallace Funeral Home in Newton.
Dr. Richard Bentzinger, pastor of the Newton First Methodist Church, will conduct Newton services. Burial will be in the Newton Union Cemetery.
Memorial contributions to the Oak Glen Home may be left at the Wallace Funeral Home.
Survivors are seven sons, Burl and Hygie, both of East Moline, Ill., Marvin and Dean, both of Milan, Ill., Rolland of Edgington, Ill., and Larry Reynolds of Rock Island, Ill., and Charles Saddler of Davenport; four daughters, Mary Bergman of Hampton, Ill., Rosalie Williams of Davenport, Maxine Clark of Lincoln, Neb., and Wilma Warren of Kewanee, Ill.; 34 granchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and a great-great-grandchild.
Also surviving are two brothers, Theodore Henning of Colfax and Walter Henning of Kellogg; and a sister, Elsie Hasselbrink of Grinnell.
She was preceded in death by her husband in 1944 and a son.
The daughter of August and Rika Henning, she was born May 26, 1896 in Newton.
She was married Dec. 5, 1917 in Des Moines.
