June Hasselbrink, Former County Resident, Dies
June E. Hasselbrink, 42, of Friendship Manor in Grinnell, a former resident of Jasper County, died Sunday morning at the Grinnell General Hospital.
Funeral services will be held at 2 o’clock Tuesday afternoon at the Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell.
The Rev. Hugh Shiveley, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Grinnell, will conduct services. Burial will be in the Hazelwood Cemetery in Grinnell.
Smith Funeral Home in Grinnell is handling arrangements.
Memorial contributions in Miss Hasselbrink’s name will be accepted. They may be left at the Smith Funeral Home.
Survivors are her mother, Mrs. William Hasselbrink of Newton; four brothers, Donald, Richard and Wayne, all of Grinnell, and Edward of Woodbridge, N.J.; and two sisters, Mrs. Tom (Virginia) Pratt of Clarion and Mrs. Charles (Doris) Bryan of Lynnville.
The daughter of William and Elsie Henning Hasselbrink, she was born June 25, 1934 at Newton.
