FORT COLLINS, Colo.--
Graveside rites for Carlotta J. Wells Kling, 44, of Fort Collins, Colo., a former resident of Jasper County, will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, July 3, at Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

The Rev. James Black, pastor of the Foursquare Church, will conduct services. Burial will be in Newton Memorial Park Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Wallace-Pence Funeral Home from 8 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. Friday.

Memorials to a fund in her name will be accepted.

She died Sunday morning at the Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins, Colo., of cancer.

Survivors are her husband, Larry R.; three sons, Larry R. Jr. of Eagle Grove and Mikel S. and Scott A., both of Fort Collins; a daughter, Teresa (Mrs. Bradley) Norton of Fort Collins, Colo.; nine grandchildren; two brothers, Harold Wells Jr. and Tim Wells, both of Newton; a sister, Paulette (Mrs. Brian) Korn of Georgia; her father, Harold Wells of Sully; and her mother, Alice Peirson of Grinnell.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, David and Terry Wells.

Mrs. Kling, a member of the Fellowship Resurrection of Christ Church in Loveland, Colo., was a former member of the Newton Foursquare Church.

A homemaker, she had been employed at the Midtown Cafe and Long's Cafe in Grinnell and most recently at the Newton Inn.

The daughter of Harold and Alice Cottrell Wells, she was born April 25, 1949 in Grinnell and attended Grinnell Community High School.

She was married to Larry R. Kling Sept. 27, 1968 in Pella.

Mrs. Kling had lived in Kellogg for 12 years before moving to Newton where she resided until moving to Fort Collins in 1980.
