MONROE — Inez Irene (Schrader) Thomason, 89, of Monroe died Tuesday, March 31, 2009, at Nelson Manor in Newton.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Monroe United Methodist Church with burial following at Silent City Cemetery.
Visitation will be Thursday at the Monroe United Methodist Church from 2 to 8 p.m. with family present to greet friends from 6 to 8 p.m.
Memorials may be given to Hospice of Jasper County or the Monroe Emergency Unit, and online condolences may be left for the family at www.coburnfuneralhomes.com.
Those left to honor her memory are her children, Carroll Thomason (Glenda) of Pleasant Hill, Robert Thomason (Donna) of Monroe, Larry Thomason (Joanne) of Newton, Marcia Livingston (William) of Buckingham, Ruby Thomason of Des Moines and Becky Danilson of Des Moines; one sister; Ruby Wallace of Monroe; 15 grandchildren; and 21 great-grandchildren. Inez was preceded in death by her parents, husband and one brother, Hubert “Gus” Schrader.
