Gerald J. Rowles, 80, of 1254 Office Park Road, West Des Moines, died of cancer Friday at the Kavanagh House on Grand in Des Moines. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Caldwell-Raddatz Hickman Chapel, with burial at Resthaven Cemetery.
Mr. Rowles was born in Jefferson and lived in the Des Moines area all his life. He was a retired car dealer and an Army Veteran of World War II.
A previous obituary should have stated that surviving are six sons, Casey, Jim and Jerry all of Des Moines, Kelly of Ames, Shawn of Pleasant Hill and Joe of California; three daughters, Tracy Herrick of Des Moines, Holly Perkins of Ankeny, and Patty; and a sister, Juanita Myers of Lincoln, Neb.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Kavanagh House.
