COLFAX - Funeral services for Albert W. Ervin, 88, a resident of Colfax since 1890, were held Saturday at the Walters Funeral Home in Colfax.

The Rev. Robert Jones, pastor of the Christian Church in Colfax, conducted the services. Burial was in Colfax Cemetery.

Surviving is a nephew, Albert J. Ervin of Colfax.

The son of Mr. and Mrs. Winfield Scott Ervin, he was born Nov. 25, 1885 in Lynnville.

He died Thursday at the Jasper Cunty Home southeast of Newton. ~ Newton Daily News, February 18, 1974.
