George C. Jones, 91, a retired farmer and longtime resident of Lucas County, died Tuesday at the Chariton Manor.

He is survived by his wife, Jesse, of Excelsior Springs, Mo.; three sons, William and Clifford L. of Excelsior Springs, and George C. of Rock Island, Ill.; one daughter, Eva McQuire of Rockwood, Mich.

Services are pending at the Fielding Funeral Home. Newspaper is in Lucas County name unknown.
