Pella — Don “Boomer” Rozenboom, 72, of Pella passed away unexpectedly Wednesday morning on arrival at Pella Regional Health Center in Pella.
Funeral services will be on Tuesday, Dec. 30, at 1:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church in Pella. Visitation will begin Monday morning at Van Dyk-Duven Funeral Home in Pella where the family will be present Monday from 5 to 7 p.m.

Boomer, the husband of Darlene Van Rees, is survived by his two daughters: Barb Rozenboom of Altoona, IA and Jan Van Ryswyk of Monroe, IA; and five step-children: Rita Moneysmith of Pella, Mark Van Rees of Ft. Lauderdale, FL, Judy Clark and Carol Floden both of Pella and Christina Groenenboom of Port Orange, FL.
Visitation will begin Monday morning at Van Dyk- Duven Funeral Home where the family will be present Monday from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. For those desiring, memorials may be given for Hospice of Pella or the First Baptist Church
