RITES FRIDAY FOR FORD MOTT, 67

Services will be held Friday at 2:30 p.m. at the Toland funeral home for Ford Lamoine Mott, 67, 1520 West Second Street North, who died at his home Monday after a heart attack. Burial will be in Vandalia, Iowa cemetery.

Mott, born at Runnells February 19, 1890, was the son of Nettie Ingles and Dunlap Mott. He married Sylvia Houck about 47 years ago. He came to Jasper county in 1951 and had lived in Newton for the last six years. He was a county heating plant operator.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ford Mott; a daughter, Mrs. Wayne Miller, Newton; a son, Ford Jr., Newton; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Barrier, Marenete, Ariz., and Mrs. Marjorie Schelberger, Minneapolis, Minn.; two brothers, Frank, Joliet, Ill., and Jim, Prairie City; his mother, Mrs. Nettie Nellie, Minneapolis, and two grandsons and a granddaughter.
