ST. LOUIS, Mo. — Eloise Littrell Pollard (Rieger), 96, of St. Louis, Mo., formerly of Newton, passed away Saturday, Nov. 15, 2008.
Mrs. Pollard was born on a farm near Wheeling, Mo., on Oct. 5, 1912, to Robert and Lou Ella (Little) Littrell and lived most of her life in St. Joseph, Mo.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her first husband, Elmer Pollard and second husband, Clarence Rieger; brother, Robert S. Littrell; and son-in-law, Stephen J. Galluzzo.
Survivors include her daughters, Linda (C. Eugene) Bryant of Baxter and Lois Galluzzo; five grandchildren, Curtis (Anne)Bryant, John Bryant, Matthew (Michaela) Galluzzo and Lisa (Michael) Galluzzo-Siedman, and Katherine Galluzzo; and sister, Ruth Davis.
A service will be held at Wyatt Park Christian Church, St. Joseph, Mo. at 1 p.m. today, Nov. 18, with burial in the Wheeling Cemetery. Memorials may be sent to Wyatt Park Christian Church, 2623 Mitchell, St. Joseph, Mo. 64507, or to the charity of the donor’s choice.
