KELLOGG — Rea E. Schultz, 91, of Kellogg died on Wednesday, Oct. 29, 2008, at the Hospice of Jasper County’s Monarch Wing at Skiff Medical Center in Newton.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 3, at Our Silent City Cemetery with the Rev. Mike Johnson of the Kellogg Christian Church officiating. Burial will be at Our Silent City Cemetery in Kellogg.
Memorials may be left to Hospice of Jasper County.
The Wallace Family Funeral Home & Crematory in Newton is in charge of arrangements.
Born May 2, 1917, in rural Kellogg, he was the son of Ferdinand and Mae (Morrison) Schultz.
Rea attended Kellogg country schools through 8th grade and he lived on the same farm he was born on his entire life.
Rea farmed in the Kellogg area all his life and he enjoyed trapping, hunting and fishing in Minnesota.
Rea was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Roy and Vernon Schultz; and a sister in infancy.
